EXCELLENCE CAN’T BE IGNORED – Pastor Chris

…a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit (Proverbs 17:27)

Walking in excellence is for those who make the choice. Therefore, develop your spirit for excellence, to always produce outstanding results. Remember the words of Jesus: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” (Matthew 5:14).

Then in the 16th verse, He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Yes, you’re shining, but are you shining enough to give light? It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks; make up your mind to do what you do so well that you’ll be a reference for excellence and thus make yourself so relevant and indispensable by building stability, discipline and reliability into your character.

There’re people who have so many responsibilities because of their excellent spirit and excellent performance. They’re so dependable that every time something new is about to be done in their place of work, their names come up. Yes; it’s because excellence can’t be ignored.

          PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of excellence that’s at work in me. I continually walk in excellence, and as such, my light shines ever so brightly and brings glory to your Name. I function in divine wisdom and diligence to consistently produce outstanding results, and my commitment to excellence is a testimony of your grace and goodness in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Daniel 6:1-3
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; 2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel [was] first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit [was] in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].
