Carissa Sharon, hitting the right notes

Carissa Sharon a.k.a CSO, the vivacious UK based daughter of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is making waves with the recent release of her music video; “I’m Excellent”.

Following in her father’s footsteps to reach the world with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the young and highly gifted singer and songwriter is however charting her own course through her dynamic music. The hit single, an R&B/Soul song was produced by Icey Stanley, who was also featured. Within a very short time from its release on August 16, 2013, the song climbed the charts, peaking at number 7 on the iTunes “World Genre”.

The video, already clocking over 12,000 views on youtube within 2 months of its release, includes clips of the duo’s performance of the song to a packed audience at the Higher Life Conference hosted by Christ Embassy at the O2 Arena, London in August 2013. Check it out below:
