On October 1, 2021, members of Christ Embassy Abuja Zone led by the Zonal Pastor; Pastor Dipo Fisho took to the streets of the Federal Capital; Abuja for a Carnival, in celebration of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary. It is the Reach Out Nigeria Campaign; a Nation Building Initiative, where we set out to inspire hope in Nigerians with the free distribution of our Messenger Angel; the Rhapsody of Realities Daily Devotional.
Some may wonder, “what is there to celebrate?” Indeed we have every reason to celebrate, because Christ died for the people of Nigeria and have sent us to bring the good news to those that are disillusioned and give them hope for tomorrow.
Make no mistake about it… Nigeria belongs to Jesus. We have taken hold of the soul of our Nation by the bold step to saturate our world with the Word of God. The Reach Out Nigeria Campaign is God’s project and we are fulfilling prophecy! For the Bible declares in Habakkuk 2:14; “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
The Carnival train converged at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja, where a Concert was held to kick off the free distribution all across the City of Abuja.
The young and the old, turned up in colourful costumes in our National colours of green and white, showcasing our rich cultural heritage and diversity. It was not just about the pomp and pageantry but it was a spiritual, significant and tangible display of our faith in the future of our dear Country.
What a glorious privilege to be part of those causing a change in our world. The Bible says in Psalm 68:11; “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”
