The soothing arch of colours

157004374

I see the blinding lightening flash
And I scurry for cover in a dash
Then the fierce strike of thunder
And my spine melts as I blunder

The rains pound with fury as I hid
My nails break in splinters as I bit
I long for that soothing arch of colours
The spleandour of the rainbow colours

The skies, beautified by the light
My eyes, captivated by the sight
I exhale in thankful appreciation
And exult in joyful jubilation
