WORK THE WORD – Pastor Chris
Tuesday, August 7, 2018
Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life (Galatians 6:5 MSG).
Some Christians try to make God responsible for what actually is their responsibility. Often times, when something unpleasant happens, they’d conclude, “It’s the will of God; otherwise, why did He let it happen?” What such people need to realise is that the authority to change things on earth, and make our lives as beautiful as we desire, has been given to us. You can make your life glorious by living out God’s Word.
In Matthew 17:20, the Lord Jesus was emphatic when He said, “…verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” He makes it clear that you can create your victorious life by acting your faith on the Word of God. He already gave you the measure of faith you require to effect the changes you desire.
In Mark 9:23, He said, “…all things are possible to him that believeth.” The question is, do you believe? If you do, then you have before you a life of endless possibilities. Put the Word to work in your life, and you’ll always be victorious. Don’t “wait” for His Word to come to pass in your life; rather, you’re to work the Word.
Philippians 2:12 says, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Work out the Word in your life and make it produce results. Using your faith, you can be what you want to be, change what you want to change, and achieve whatever you want to achieve! Faith is our currency and “power to do” in the Kingdom of God.
God has already given you the dominion and the authority to create your triumphant life, by altering the course of events in your life to conform with His perfect will. Keep living in the Word, and the glory of God will be manifest in all you do.
CONFESSION
Christ is my life and all I require; thus, my life is one of endless glory, joy, victories, successes, and possibilities! I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. Nothing is impossible unto me! I’m a believer in Christ Jesus; therefore, a possessor of all things! Hallelujah!
