Stirring worship by Mercy Chinwo: Igwe

I stumbled on Mercy Chinwo yesterday when I read a compelling birthday message to her from the Prince of Praise; JoePraize. The simple story of an encounter years ago in Calabar prompted me to search for her music and I found a treasure in her latest single; “Igwe”.

“Igwe” by Mercy Chinwo is an inspirational worship song with an unmistakable flavour from God’s Spirit. Produced by the prolific A4jeazy, the song is melodic and smooth and enriched by Mercy’s strong vocals and elaborate embellishment in Igbo language.

Mercy is a gifted worship leader and singer and winner of the 2012 Nigerian Idol competition.
