I was recently involved in an initiative to help rehabilitate a friend that had undergone a major surgery. We might not have done so much, but that gesture was so overwhelming to her that it drew out deep words of appreciation that just blew me away.
Then I thought, gratitude is like good music… soothing and invigorating.
I was particularly intrigued at the capacity of man to produce something so sweet and refreshing in the midst of the challenges and pains that life could inflict.
I sought her permission to share the words and bless a wider audience:
“There’s a lovely street in my heart…, where thoughts of lovely people like you habitually reside. I’ve just stopped by to wish you a great lifetime in God’s presence.” – N. A
Ok, just wondering… Did those words resonate with you or am I just being sentimental?
wow a deep thought, that will surely bless and motivate any heart. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome!
Wow, this piece is so real, true, amazing and an eye opener to me. I realized that there is no limit to what extent God can change the situation of someone through such an INITIATIVE. You drew out tears of JOY in exchange of tears of PAIN, SORROW and DISCOURAGEMENT. Thank you for bringing out lovely smiles from me again. Thank you and God Bless you.
