PU: Moving on to Greater Heights (Video)

I am excited at the ongoing changes in the Nigerian Gospel Music scene. High quality content and productions have become the order of the day, in place of the mediocrity that held sway in the past. The days of cheap choreography of the “Ariaria” brand of gospel videos are well behind us. The Artistes are more enlightened and exposed and fast learning to utilize technology in propagating their message.

PU, profiled here, released the video of his hit song; ‘Greater Heights’ on Monday, January 12, 2015. I have had time to review the work, which has been getting a lot of attention and can attest that the video ticks all the right boxes.

Depicting the arduous ascent to greater heights, of a man burdened with a heavy laden, the video conveyed the message of the song in vivid and captivating images. The lead character, displayed the appropriate emotions that portrayed the inspiration and impact of the word of God, as he progressed on his journey.

Great concept, unique location and high quality production for a song with a timely message.
